Shoot to score soccer is proud to extend
its Winter Clinics Soccer Program to enhance the enthusiasm
of youth players in the NOVA area. A Staff Coach
will guide participants through organized games and activities
to develop ball skills, agility, balance, listening skills
and foot-eye coordination. The Winter Clinics will also
introduce the concepts of cooperation and teamwork. This
program is designed for ALL PLAYERS of ALL ABILITIES who
are looking to learn and improve their soccer skills while
getting a lot of extra touches on the ball. Sessions include
individual exercises, small-sided activities, and small-sided
games.
Shoot to score has teamed up with American Soccer Academy to offer winter footskill training and Mulit sports classes in Fairfax, VA for 2012
8 Week Program - Friday Nights - $150 per player
Jan 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th Feb 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Clinics will be held indoors at Gesher Jewish School in Fairfax.
Foot Skills Academy Clinics: 9-12 yrs old
(8 weeks, Friday nights U9/U10 Soccer 6pm - 7pm U12 soccer 7pm - 8pm- $150 per player)
Progressively and being grouped by age and ability, players will explore the more advanced aspects of the beautiful game through small-sided activities allowing players of all levels and abilities to embrace the technical and tactical facets of the sport while still getting many touches on the ball. Professionally licensed trainers will introduce concepts like developing first touch, effective passing, and purposeful dribbling to beat a defender, with a very strong emphasis on FUN. Under the direction of training staff who truly enjoy these age groups, players will be given an environment in which to develop a love for the game while improving their individual ball skills. The program will be held once a week, or scheduled twice to maximize participation and avoid regular team training conflicts. Program Objective: To be an avenue for players to get professional soccer instruction, which they may not have during their regular team training sessions, as well as to offer an option for those interested in advancing their development.
U8 Academy/ Pre Travel training:
(8 weeks U7/U8 Soccer 5pm - 6pm - $150 per player)
ASA U8 Academy Program is designed for motivated U7 – U8 players, interested in improving there soccer skills and possible transition into a travel program. The Academy training offers the players a unique opportunity to play with other talented players of similar ability trained by our ASA Staff Coaches, with a low player to coach ratio. The program is designed to be proactive in the development of committed players and influence their individual playing qualities. The majority of the training session will be working on improving flair and technical abilities (control, dribbling, passing, shooting) of the individual player. Each session also spends time on small-sided tactics and repetitions such as 1v1, 1v2, and 2v2.
Multi Sports
(8 weeks Multi Sports U5 - U8 5pm - 6pm Multi Sports U9 - U12 6pm - 7pm - $150 per player)
Our Multi-sports Program is designed to cater for children aged from 5yrs + of age. It runs in conjunction with the school terms and runs for 8 weeks. Each class is 1 hour in duration. Each class is lead by qualified instructors. Children learn the basic rules, skills and modified games involved with a particular sport – including American and European sports. A different sport each week!!
Sports include – Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Rounder’s, Netball, Cricket, Field Hockey, Rugby Skills, Volleyball, Baseball/ Softball. Lacrosse.
